The inner and outer stories of women over the past hundred years, told through movement theatre. A journey of bringing inherited burdens into conscious awareness and gradually letting them go after decades of carrying them. Symbolic stage elements—water and fire—run throughout the performance as powerful metaphors. Music, costume, and movement merge organically, becoming a unified language of expression.

The performance utilized dramatic side-lighting and extreme minimalist stage architecture.A stand-up free-play musical about motherhood. An hour of laughter—painful and liberating in equal measure—woven into an honest, playful, musical, and interactive monologue.
Through humour, music, and personal storytelling, the performance brings us closer to understanding motherhood: our own experience of it, that of others, and even our relationship with our own mothers.
